CAMERON, MONTANA
Built in a private clearing, and against a hill, it took advantage of the great privacy in this lot in SunWest Ranch. Designed for a family of 6 from Savannah, the intention was to design a small home that would take great advantage of the passing-through creek, and existing wildlife paths on site. Tucked back into the site, with stands of native trees for privacy, this home utilized a relatively small footprint of 3500 sf over a main floor, fit out daylit basement, and living room loft to accommodate the family.
This residence was substantially completed in the summer of 2010.

This residence has a substantially completed shell, and continues to be completed on the interiors. In collaboration with the Owners, the residence was designed to take great advantage of its panoramic views, looking over the Madison River Valley, and across to the Sphinx Peak. Conceived to follow the natural contours of the site, decks and walk-out patios follow the modulation of the site. Materials used were primarily re-claimed lumber, stone, and rustic elements.

ALDER, MONTANA
This project in Alder, Montana was designed as a second home for clients who love to fly fish, and purchased land close to the Ruby River. A small cabin, only 1600 sf, took advantage of the mountain views on all sides, and utilized three sides for porches - south and west open, with an east facing screened in porch for morning enjoyment. The separate garage featured one bay for a vehicle, as well as an open bay for a drift boat or site equipment.
These two buildings were completed in 2008, and a storage barn is under construction.

ENNIS, MONTANA
This small play cabin was bought from a local Ennis craftsman for the grandkids of Walkin P.
Both myself and the Owner noticed it along the side of the road, and agreed it would make a great addition to the Walkin P complex. The Master plan for the property provides for a bunkhouse for the kids, and this playhouse supports that building.
Bought as just a shell, it was designed to have a new bath addition, which includes an outside shower. The inside was fit out with custom light fixtures and vintage furniture. Plans are to complete the land sculpting and final details in the summer of 2012.
